The Vantage residential brand, introduced in 1995, has become the preferred choice of residential Architects and Building Designers. The innovative performance and design features of the Vantage range deliver outstanding outcomes in residential construction. A comprehensive suite of products, including Bi-Fold doors and windows, Stacking and Sliding doors, Awning and Casement windows and ClearVENT™ ventilating sashless window systems are offered under the Vantage brand.
In 2003 AWS introduced the AWS Commercial range which offers competitive and high performance commercial suites. Further development delivered the outstanding AWS Commercial Architectural Series that embodies style and performance, this series has quickly become a favourite in both commercial and Architectural residential applications..
The AWS product range is recognized as being the largest available in Australia and is considered technically impressive. In line with its commitment to product development, AWS introduce new products each year and upgrade the existing product range on a regular basis. The most recent of these developments is THERMAL HEART™, an innovative range of thermally broken window and doors based on the Vantage Designer Series platform. THERMAL HEART™ products perform 32% better than standard double glazed units and offer significant benefits to the end user in achieving excellent thermal performance.
The company also offers a number of unique hardware suites – Ando™, Miro and ICON available across most products within the Vantage Designer Series range.
AWS designs, tests, finishes and supplies aluminium window and door systems under the Vantage and AWS Commercial brands to more than 130 licenced manufacturers throughout Australia.
In parallel with the busy pace of product development, AWS have developed a number of customer support products which include computer software for the costing, manufacturing, pricing and quoting of Vantage and AWS Commercial products; technical manuals to assist designers and architects in specification; manufacturing manuals for fabricators and centralised marketing and promotional support.
AWS currently operates from 3 sites – Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and is closely linked with its sister company in New Zealand, APL.
