Architecturally inspired systems for superior style and performance

Blairgowrie Beach House Project | ThermalHEART | AWS

This stunning project in the seaside village of Blairgowrie in Victoria, showcases a fantastic combination of architectural windows and doors.

Typically, large glazing can negatively impact on both energy requirements and fire ratings. Unfortunately it's now become commonplace to see design preferences being compromised in order to satisfy these technical requirements.

The brief for this project was to create a relaxing and modern beach house that could satisfy these requirements without compromising on design preference.

"AWS ticked all the boxes", using some of the highest performing, thermally broken, aluminium windows and doors in the market. This included AWS designer series awning windows and thermally broken sliding doors.

The end result is a beautiful, energy-efficient, bushfire rated home that can withstand the natural Australian environment.
