Breakfast Point

The entire suburb has been carefully planned and purposely designed as a self-sustained community. Dwellings have also been strategically placed to maximise the unparalleled beauty of the landscape, whilst remaining close enough to foster a unique sense of community. Builders Baulderstone Hornibrook came together with Superior Windows to create two impeccable properties: Chateaux, which is a twin five-story residential tower, as well as Burgundy Hill, which is a nine-story residential tower.

The main brief from the builder for the window selection was that the window and door combinations were to be high performance, strong enough to withstand wind and water as well as aesthetically pleasing to complement the high quality workmanship going into the residences. Superior were confident that all the products they provided are of that quality. Both the Vantage and Elevate™ high performance window and door systems were utilised in this project and the builders were pleased Superior offered the flexibility of using both residential and commercial systems in the same project.

The Vantage Series 514 Double-Hung windows were included in the project due to their classic style of timber looking windows with the functional benefits of aluminium. For the higher units, the Vantage Series 613 MAGNUM™ Double-Hung windows were used for their durability and ability to complement high rise applications. This particular double-hung window is robust and hardwearing, making it the perfect fit for apartments. The sashes fully bypass each other to allow cleaning of the glass from the inside which is the perfect solution in high rise applications like the residences on Breakfast Point. To achieve a seamless flow between the apartment’s interior and exterior, Series 704 SlideMASTER™ Doors were used as balcony doors throughout the residences due to their ability to be large spanning, which has allowed for a greater natural light filtration. The size of the doors also means that when the doors are open, ventilation is optimal and views are not compromised.
