Australia's Leading Range of Thermally Broken Aluminium Windows and Doors

“2 HARES”, nestled in Pipers Creek, Central Victoria showcases the masterful and gentle restoration of a delightful stone cottage.

The brief listed three simple requirements:ample light, a sense of space, and comfort – all without the need for a complete demolition and rebuild. The cottage consists of light modern fixtures thoughtfully designed to be sympathetic to the existing structure, ensuring the new elements enhance rather than detract from the cottage’s authenticity.

The demand for large openings and a seamless connection with the natural environment has increased among homeowners as a result, the ThermalHEART™ suite of products were selected due to their impressive large scale capabilities and superior energy efficiency.

In particular, the ThermalHEART™ range enabled the creation of a bedroom that is truly a retreat from the world.

The Series 731 ThermalHEART™ Sliding Door spans the entire width of the room, framing the breathtaking views of the distant ranges and windmills. In addition, Series 726 ThermalHEART™ Fixed Highlights above the door canvas the evening sky.

The Series 730 ThermalHEART™ Bi-fold Door – creatively used in the bathroom in place of a shower screen – exposes the shower fully when open and invites the clean and natural airflow inside. Complementing this, the Series 726 ThermalHEART™ Fixed Window frames the distant expanse of the landscape that stretches endlessly into the distance like a living painting.

Hammersley Brown powder coat was applied to frames to allow them to gracefully blend with the existing Corten steel and neutral tones of the cottage.
