Surviving the Storm

Well let’s hope that’s the last of the storms and winds in New South Wales and Queensland for a while! 

Because of the recent weather, as home owners, our focus was turned to the safety of our homes. While we are at work and away from our homes during these times, we need to be assured that our homes will be safe. A window that has been properly specified would have been able to survive the storm without any structural damage. 

At AWS we are committed to research, development and innovation. Every element of our entire range of windows and doors have been designed and tested to withstand the toughest Australian conditions, weather performance and thermal efficiency. All our products have been successfully tested to AS 2047 weather testing. We test deflection, operating force, air infiltration, water penetration and ultimate strength. 

We test our products through to destruction. This ensures that when we look at the products where they have been damaged we can redesign them to ultimately make them perform better. At AWS we are constantly innovating.
